As we know, we will borrow a significant portion of the UX changes from the Windows 10X shell, and Windows 10X is not coming to market. The central part of this announcement is a significant user interface change. And a completely new design is excellent for that.

Microsoft needs a good reason to reverse its past claims and still ditch Windows 10 by introducing a new operating system number. (Non-TPM build is for machines that don't meet the requirements for windows 11.) Try it out and see if it's right for you.Free Download Windows 11 Professional 64-bit Pre-activated ISO Non-TPM Torrent magnet is a newly designed Operating System from Microsoft. With 3900x and 64gb ram, you can have lot of room to play with. My current docker includes: delugevpn, plex, sonaar, radaar, nextcloud, bitwarden, handbrake, marianadb, ytdownload server, wordpress, jackett, cloudflare ddns, krusader and maybe another few that I forgot to mention. I used to think I need a win10, win server to do this and that, but docker has changed my way of working. There are lot of docker containers that you can use.

Just install community app once your up and running. With unraid, you can do A LOT of things with docker, for example, handbrake docker. I'd I can get the gpu passthrough to work without the dreaded error 43, I will be golden.

I used to have 3 separate pc for different things (games, work, nas) now it's nicely packed into a simple 1 unraid box with win10vm. You can store everything on the array and use ssd for the vdisk, I would actually recommend something smaller so you can run the auto vm backup daily so you can always have an image file if you ever need to rollback. And you dont really need 3 HD for the vm, I am using 1 ssd's and that's enough. With my limited knowledge so far, I think unraid is awesome. I am running 3900x and a win10 vm, I have had and still running into issues with gpu passthrough to make it a gaming vm. Should I perhaps build a 3rd machine strictly for Virtualization ? (ESXi/Proxmox/XCP-NG/etc) Is unraid a good fit for all those functions? My Goal is to possibly run Unraid on the above hardware, have it take over every function with the exception of gaming/everyday use, then build a secondary machine for everyday use, perhaps when Ryzen 4000 series comes out. I just need to be easily and quickly deploy 4-6 VM's (Windows DC's, Imaging Server (WDS/MDT), application server or two, perhaps a linux VM as well, etc) that can consistently run in the background.

I have pretty much given up on the thought it a Gaming VM since from what I've read, it can require alot of tinkering and when a patch gets installed or something changes (unraid or guest VM) it can require troubleshooting to fix often. I need something Rock Solid and easy/simple to use ( Unraid will already have a learning curve for me, and most of the time when I test things its already stuff thats time consuming, so I dont want to have to spend hours troubleshooting basic stuff/functionality). How good/easy is Virtualization with Unraid ? I understand Unraid is mainly a NAS but offers secondary functions (media server, virtualization, docker, etc) but is its virtualization functionality solid? I have read a couple of threads where people seem to have basic issues, not sure if its buggy or just user error. I understand its free, but I feel like its not as stable as VMware and is lacking many features. My main reason for separation into a second machine, is that when I need to patch the host (windows patches), running everything at the same time (handbrake, VM's for work, gaming) the CPU can start to get pegged and if I have a work project running and the host needs to be rebooted for various reasons, it can mess up my workflow.Īdditional info - I am most familiar with VMware products, I have tried Hyper-V and dont really care for it. I currently am able to do pretty much everything without an issue.
